ABDN South Yorkshire and Sheffield Chamber of Commerce hosted a joint event with RBS on Thursday 14th March to provide support to local businesses. Around 30 businesses from the South Yorkshire region attended from Sheffield, Doncaster and Rotherham.
The delegates had the opportunity to meet RBS to see how they can further support their business across a variety of areas crucial in the current market conditions. There was also opportunities to network for the delegates from across South Yorkshire.
It is the first of many planned business support events in the South Yorkshire region that are planned over the next 6 months between ABDN SY and Sheffield Chamber. This was the first event joint event since ABDN SY entered into a partnership with Sheffield Chamber in January 2011.
Richard Wright, Chief Executive of Sheffield Chamber, also attended and commented on the “success of the event in further developing a more positive relationship between the Chamber and ABDN”.
