ABDN ran a follow on workshop that attracted over 20 delegates from across Leeds online marketing seminars to update, inform and give start up business individuals the knowledge and tools to enable them to use social media more effectively. Now that social media has become a popular online resource for many individuals and businesses alike, it became apparent amongst our clients that social networking channels like Facebook and LinkedIn has fast become a mechanism to draw in customers/clients.

The workshop was delivered by Omar Hamdi, the managing director of honeypotdigital who compared a range of social media sites, the purposes of their use, the benefits and practical advice and guidance on how to maximise a company’s impact on the web. The delegates were also informed of how they could market their businesses successfully by using search engine optimisation and how to improve Google ranking positions on the web. The seminar received excellent feedback with delegates commenting on the quality of the content and the non jargon friendly terms.
