ABDN Membership is free to any business that adds to our Network of Influence for the first year. Each business will receive one ABDN Membership offering a range of different social and business benefits.

Each additional membership card per business will be charged at £25 + vat each.

ABDN welcomes membership applications from:

• Business owners / self-employed

ABDN will review all submitted applications for membership to see if the applicant can enhance or contribute towards our Network of Influence. ABDN will look at each application to ensure that any one sector / industry are not oversaturated with members keeping an even representation.

ABDN reserves the right at all times and in its absolute discretion to determine the number of Members in ABDN and may accept or reject applications for membership as it feels fit.

In 2011, ABDN are offering all businesses free membership to ABDN. Each business will receive one ABDN membership card to confirm their membership status which can be used for all our social and business benefits. If any additional ABDN membership cards are requested per business, these will be charged at £25 + vat per card. Each card will be registered to the business and not to any individual.

Membership Terms and Conditions

Applications for membership of ABDN are to be made via our online application form. By submitting the application form online, the Member is deemed to have signed the application form.

On completion of an application form, each new Member will receive a welcome pack via email and a membership card and welcome letter to the postal address as stated on the application form.

On acceptance of the membership application by ABDN, Members shall be bound during the continuance of membership by these Terms and Conditions including any amendments made in accordance with the procedure set out below.

ABDN reserves the right at all times and in its absolute discretion to determine the number of Members in ABDN and may accept or reject applications for membership as it feels fit.

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their membership number and for all activities that occur under their membership number.

Members must inform ABDN immediately if their membership card is lost or stolen to avoid misuse of the card. ABDN can withdraw any membership card and privileges if we believe there has been any misuse.

Terminating Membership

Membership is to be renewed annually. ABDN will email each Member once the membership is coming up to renewal. ABDN membership is currently unpaid and may in the future become a paying membership requiring a fee. Each member will be informed of this in advance Member will not have the benefit of membership.

ABDN reserves the right to expel Members or to prevent any Member from participating in any Event or from renewing membership if the Member puts the organisation into disrepute.

If, for whatever reason, a Member wishes to terminate her Membership, they must give notice of this in writing to ABDN.  

Variation of Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be revised from time to time. If they are revised, we will email the revised version to you. It will be your responsibility to keep us updated with an email address.

Data Protection and Intellectual Property

We will respect the privacy of your data which you supply to us in accordance with our Privacy Policy and forms part of these terms and conditions, and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any other applicable data protection legislation. You agree that it is your responsibility to keep your data accurate and up to date and to send us new or revised data where appropriate. You further agree that we may use your data as set out in our Privacy Policy.

It is your responsibility to keep your membership number confidential.

We will use your data to administer your membership and Events you attend. When you attend an Event your name may be included on a delegate list. Where you obtain information about other Members you must use this in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
